Are you a highly organized and enthusiastic professional seeking a pivotal role in account management with an emphasis on client relations and internal communications? Bruno PR & Social is on the lookout for an exceptional Account Manager with a strong background in PR and social media. With 3-5 years of experience, you'll be an essential addition to our expanding team, reporting directly to Nicole Bruno, our esteemed Founder and CEO. In this role, you'll champion client onboarding, communication, and satisfaction while collaborating seamlessly with our agency partners. Your proactive approach and exceptional organizational skills will drive success in supporting PR, social media, and digital marketing initiatives, ensuring our team meets deadlines and excels in client service.

The Role

Type: 20/40 Hours Per Week

Compensation: $24-36 per hour

Location: Remote (LA Preferred)

Job Description:

  • Onboard new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and understanding of their needs.

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering strong relationships and addressing their objectives, needs, and challenges.

  • Manage tasks within client scopes in ClickUp, overseeing project assignments for efficient team performance and meeting deadlines.

  • Engage regularly with clients, assessing satisfaction levels, gathering feedback, and identifying account growth opportunities.

  • Maintain proactive and responsive communication, enhancing positive client experiences and addressing inquiries effectively.

  • Provide support with the development and execution of comprehensive PR and social media strategies aligned with client goals, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of services.

  • Monitor social media account or campaign performance, analyze data, and share insights and recommendations with internal teams to optimize strategies and achieve client objectives.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to execute client projects seamlessly and manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

  • Serve as a liaison between agency partners and clients, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.

  • Provide support across PR, social media, and digital marketing activities, contributing to impactful campaigns.

  • Identify opportunities for account growth, collaborating with the team to pitch new services or strategies to existing clients.

  • Update account reports, share PR and social media activity updates in client meetings, and maintain project statuses in ClickUp.

  • Meet daily expectations by logging your hours in Gusto, updating project statuses and marking tasks as complete in ClickUp, and updating the founder and relevant team members on the status of tasks

  • Attend regular team and client meetings, scheduling recurring account status meetings with assigned clients.

  • Fulfill any other assigned organizational responsibilities or tasks.

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in account management within the PR or social media industry.

  • Client Relations: Demonstrated ability to foster strong client relationships and effectively address client needs and challenges.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a proactive and responsive approach in client interactions.

  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing tasks, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient project delivery and meet client expectations.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive PR and social media strategies aligned with client goals.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to monitor and analyze social media performance, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies.

  • Team Collaboration: Proven track record of collaborating effectively with internal teams, including PR specialists and social media managers.

  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful and solution-oriented approach to address client inquiries and challenges efficiently.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

  • Initiative and Growth Focus: Proactive in identifying account growth opportunities and contributing innovative ideas for client services and strategies.

    • Take ownership of client accounts, guiding clients seamlessly from onboarding through strategy development and daily collaboration.

    • Prioritize the quality of work and craft high-quality deliverables.

    • Ensure deadlines are met, and communicate promptly if more time is needed.

    • Respond to client inquiries within 24-48 hours and address issues, escalating when necessary.

    • Proactively solve problems and offer solutions, owning your mistakes when they occur.

    • Schedule and conduct regular client meetings, sharing performance analytics and recommendations.

    • Educate clients about our processes and decisions, seeking feedback on client satisfaction.

    • Organize and share client documents, deliverables, and assets for easy access.

    • Maintain consistency in monitoring client calendars and ensuring all scheduled posts are published.

    • Seek help from team members or supervisors when needed.

    2. Accountability:

    • Fulfill role responsibilities and communicate and resolve account-related issues.

    • Meet project and task deadlines and provide regular status updates.

    • Share meeting agendas and follow up with action items after meetings.

    • Use recording tools like Supernormal or Otter with client consent.

    • Log working hours in timesheets daily to maintain transparency.

    3. Communication:

    • Actively communicate questions, seek clarification, and request support when needed.

    • Address issues promptly and communicate problems to supervisors.

    • Manage client expectations and communicate achievable outcomes within scope and budget.

    • Share recommendations respectfully to enhance client results.

    4. Resourcefulness:

    • Take initiative to find solutions independently, minimizing unnecessary client inquiries.
